About Us

Vedic University is an educational service offered by Vedic Cultural Center, Sammamish. This is a project of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness), the Hare Krishna movement.
The Vedic Cultural Center is a community services project of ISKCON of Washington (which is a non-profit organization with a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status). The Vedic Cultural Center is open to all regardless of race, religion, sex, nationality or economic status.

Vedic University imparts Absolute knowledge given in Indian Vedic scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam etc. Our objective is to give knowledge and tools to help connect the self with the Supreme Godhead by reviving an eternal loving relationship with the Supreme Godhead. We offer variety of courses ranging from 9 sessions "Discover Yourself" (Overview of Bhagavad Gita) to advanced and systematic study of Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam that last for couple of years.
Vedas are ancient scriptures from India that provide spiritual and material knowledge for the upliftment of all people. Veda means knowledge. This knowledge has been passed down from the very beginning of time. Vedic culture has preserved the principles of right action and right thought that promote peace and social harmony. Modern society can benefit tremendously from the Vedic knowledge and culture.

Varieties of courses are offered for adults and kids. All the courses are FREE...because Indian Vedic Knowledge has always been imparted FREE from ancient times.

These courses focus on three things for the Spiritually minded people:

1. Our Position - The eternal constitutional relationship between God, the individual souls and matter.
2. Our Goal - The ultimate goal, or devotional love for the supreme personality of Godhead.
3. Our Path - The process of Bhakti yoga.
